We are pleased to share that PhD Candidate Shuangxia Bai, representing the research team led by Prof. Lishuai Li, presented their recent work at the US-Europe Air Transportation Research & Development Symposium (ATRDS) 2025, held from June 24–27 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The team’s paper, titled
“An Evaluation of UTM ConOps for Drone Deliveries: From Pre-Planned Air Corridors to Dynamic 4D Trajectories”,
was selected for presentation in the technical sessions of ATRDS. The paper explores the evolution of Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) concepts of operations (ConOps), comparing structured air corridors with dynamic trajectory-based operations for urban drone deliveries.
Authors:
Lishuai Li, Xinyu He, Shuangxia Bai, Zewen Wang, Bangyan Zhang, and Yinian Mao
The ATRDS 2025 Symposium marks the launch of a joint annual platform combining the ATM R&D Seminar and the International Conference on Research in Air Transportation (ICRAT), featuring technical presentations, plenary talks, and tutorials from leading figures in air transportation research.
